This Silver Maple and a chunk of the front deck at Erin and Leah Lachman’s home fell victim to a strong storm that moved across the region Tuesday evening, July 15. The large system that extended from the Nebraska to the North Dakota border reached Freeman mid-evening and, by 10 p.m., had cleared the area. Cloudy skies persist today.
