Tayden Kerrigan takes bating practice at Freeman’s baseball field Sunday evening, July 27 in advance of the Post 152 Junior Legion’s region tournament in Tabor Monday and Tuesday. The 79ers gathered for a player-led practice ahead of their 2 p.m. game against Wagner today, and games against Winner/Colome and Tabor tomorrow. The team with the best record and or/fewest runs allowed/most runs scored will represent Region 4B in the American Legion 16U State Tournament in Milbank Aug. 8-10. The 79ers take a 19-2 record into postseason play.
