This building — identified as “Opera House” — was located on the west side of the southernmost block of Freeman’s downtown business district south of where Freeman Chiropractic Solutions is located. The structure also served as Freeman City Hall until a new building — the current building — opened in 1974. In addition to city offices, the building was also designed to accommodate the public library and police station.
