Members of Post 152 — Logun Pankratz, Izayah Ulmer, Hunter Nankivel, Riley Gall and Easton Tschetter — walk off the field after taking a 5-0 loss to Sioux Falls Post 911 at the American Legion junior league state tournament Friday afternoon, Aug. 8 in Milbank. The 79ers (22-3) were scheduled to play again at 10 a.m. Saturday against Clark Area (11-2) for a spot in the fifth/sixth-place game on Sunday.
In other first-round games, Dakota Valley defeated Madison 9-2 while Belle Fourche took down Milbank 5-4.
