The Freeman Academy soccer teams gathers at the conclusion of practice just after 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The team that still plays as Bobcats — which includes players from Freeman Public, Marion, Parker and Viborg-Hurley — has been at it since Monday, Aug. 4 and will take the field at home for its first game this Saturday, Aug. 16 vs. Dakota Valley (North Sioux City) starting at noon.

The 2025 14-game regular-season schedule will take the Bobcats through Oct. 2, with the Class A postseason to follow.
