The football field at Freeman Public Schools is pictured on a crisp Friday morning — about 11 hours prior to one of the most anticipated kickoffs in Freeman in many, many years. Tonight’s game features two of the top teams in Class 9AA: No. 3 Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy facing No. 1 Elkton Lake-Benton. Both teams are 2-0 and are title contenders.
