PHOTO OF THE DAY: SATURDAY BUZZ

It’s a busy and buzzy Saturday at Freeman Academy as Sterling Hall is playing host to the Cornbelt Conference Junior High Volleyball Tournament, with Freeman/Freeman Academy, Viborg-Hurley, Bridgewater-Emery, Hanson, Irene-Wakonda, Menno and Canistota all taking part. The single elimination tournament began at 9 a.m. Then this afternoon, the Freeman Academy soccer team will square off with winless Custer in a match scheduled to start at 1 p.m. The Class A third-seeded Bobcats will be looking to improve on their 7-1-1 record.
