PHOTO OF THE DAY: THE AGENDA

It’s a little hard to see because of the reflection of the east side of Parker’s Main Street in the window, but the agenda for the Sept. 23 meeting of the Turner County Board of Adjustment hangs on the door of the Parker Community Building early this week. As noted, public comment begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a review of the conditional use permit the board granted to Dakota Protein Solutions in 2021. The meeting is being held in the evening — as opposed to its normal late-morning time — and inside the community building on Parker’s Main Street because of the large contingent of Freeman residents expected.
