PHOTO OF THE DAY: EARS UP, ARMS UP

Mike Pankratz, a 1988 graduate of Freeman High School who went on to become a four-time All-American wrestler with South Dakota State University, acknowledges the crowd at halftime of Saturday afternoon’s Jacks football game against Mercyhurst after being inducted into the Jackrabbit Sports Hall of Fame. Pankratz was one of six to make up this year’s class. Watch for a full report in the upcoming issue of The Courier.
