Vivian was born Thursday, March 28, 1935 to Frederick and Hilda (Handel) Zeeb. She was baptized July 21, 1935 and confirmed June 19, 1949 at Menno Salem Reformed Church. Vivian went to Zeeb Country School and graduated from Menno High School in 1953.

Vivian became the bride of Vernon Gall, on June 3, 1956 at the Salem Reformed Church in Menno, a loving marriage lasting 65 years. The couple was blessed with two children, Fred and Vicki. Vivian loved “having coffee” and hosted many card and coffee parties with the Lesterville ladies along with friends from near and far.

Vernon and Vivian moved to “town” leaving the farm Dec. 1, 1989 and buying a house in Lesterville. They then moved to the Good Samaritan Society, Scotland, in May of 2020. Vivian and Vernon loved to travel! Some of their favorite trips included bear hunting in Canada, visiting friends in Germany, an Alaskan cruise, and a vacation to China.

Vivian is survived by son, Fred (Tricia) Gall of Lesterville; daughter Vicki Aldridge (Michael Suhr) of Jefferson, S.D.; grandchildren and their families: Derick (Samantha) Gall of Sioux City, Iowa, Sydney (Kory and great-grandchildren, Brewer and Faye) Kepplinger of Kaylor, S.D., Cheyanne Cope (great-grandchild, Courtney) of Elk Point, S.D., Taylor (Trenton) Weber of Parkston, S.D., Jordan Gall (Zoe Gulker) of Lesterville, S.D., and Trinity Aldridge of Nemo, S.D.
