This was the scene looking north on 438th Street, about 3 miles north of Freeman and a quarter-of-a-mile from Highway 44, on Friday morning, March 15. It's the result of two days of bad weather across the area. Heavy rains on Wednesday made many rural roads impassable and high winds and light snow on Thursday only added insult to injury. The good news is that it's a partly-sunny day in Freeman with no moisure in the forcast. Tune in to next week's Courier for a report on the impact this week's weather has had.
