With wither weather returning on Saturday and with growing concerns about the spread of coronavirus, it's no wonder that stores like Jamboree Foods on Freeman's Main Street were busy Friday, March 13. Yesterday was another fluid day surrounding the COVID-19 illness highlighted by Gov. Kristi Noem's request that South Dakota schools shut down this coming week. Freeman Public Library also announced it was canceling all programming in the forseeable future. Meanwhile, snow moved into the region overnight and was continuing through mid-morning, blanketing the landscape in white once again.
