This is the corner of Highway 81 and Sixth Street years before Casey's General Store built there — when it was occupied by Huber Motor Company and used as a car lot. The brick building sitting at an angle had been used as a service station for much of the 20th century and was also used as a lunch counter/bar known as "Freedom Corner.". This photo was taken sometime after 1991; Ampride — which opened that year — can be seen in the lower left corner. The Huber Motor lot was vacated prior to the construction/opening of Casey's General Store in 2013.
