Amy Beck helps decoarte a big pine tree at the corner of Main and Third streets Thursday afternoon, Dec. 5, in preparation for Hometown Christmas. The annual holiday promotional event that features Christmas-related activities starts tonight, Friday, Dec. 6 and will feature Horse-drawn wagon rides from 5 to 8 p.m., a "MIstletoe Market" retail event on the second floor of the Et Cetera Shoppe featuring home-based businesses from 5 to 8 p.m., and a visit from Santa at the Freeman Public Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Heritage Hall Museum and Archives is also open estended hours, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will feature a Christmas model train display all decked out for the season.

Hometown Christmas continues next week Thursday, Dec. 12.
