Ammann 180 (39%)
Weier 167 (36%)
Waltner 114 (25%).
There were 253 ballots cast and 461 votes; some voters voted for only one candidate. Voter turnout was just 14%; there are 1,765 registered voters living in the Freeman School District.
Ammann and Weier will begin their new terms when the board re-organizes in July. They will join Kerry Hofer, Corey Gall and Mark Miller on the five-member board.
Laverne Diede was up for re-election this year but chose not to run. More in the April 18 Courier.
