Lorna Norma Langle, formerly of Clayton, S.D., passed away Monday, Feb. 22 at Oakview Terrace, Freeman, S.D. at the age of 92. Lorna Norma (Dubs) Langle was born Dec. 26, 1928 to John W. and Emilie (Weiss) Dubs). She was baptized January 6, 1929 at Heilbronn Trinity Lutheran Church and confirmed April 2, 1944 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Freeman, S.D.

Tabea (Mendel) Koehn was born on Oct. 11, 1929 to David E. Mendel and Marie P. Hofer in Hutchinson County at Freeman, S.D. She attended elementary school at Progressive District #20, but she was not able to go to high school because her mother passed away at a very young age. So, Tabea, at a young age, took over her mother’s responsibility. She helped her father shock grain and pick corn by hand.
